The details have finally hit the streets on the proposed $825 Billion stimulus plan proposed by the incoming Obama administration. A nice 13-page summary from the house appropriations committee can be found at American Recovery and Reinvestment Act.
There are a number of tax proposals in the plan including the ability to carry-back 2008 losses 5 years instead of 2. This would require refiling these old returns but would result in some nice refunds. For those businesses that struggled last year, this could be a nice cash infusion.
